Consequences of changes in the educational field at the end of the 21st century. Customizations for history teaching

There are permanent approaches regarding the role and purpose of history in context 3rd millennium. The idea that should can be studied was strongly emphasized because people need to know themselves. Three sources fundamental knowledge were mentioned for 20th 21st centuries: school, family, mass media. Contemporary specialists warn success teaching school not based on a strictly mechanical assimilation historical data events, but above all understanding by subjects learning significance processes, events progress over time, contribution formation national identity. This explains why study is closely linked education democratic citizenship human rights.
